4月25日- 5月3日，2024VEX机器人世界锦标赛在美国达拉斯KB哈奇森会议中心举办。据官方发布的数据统计，全球共有超过60个国家和地区的2000多支赛队前来参赛，其中有138支队伍来自中国。值得关注的是，在本届VEX世锦赛的中国赛队中，来自中国知名少儿编程与机器人教育品牌童程童美的赛队表现出了超凡实力，赢得了斐然战绩！
其中，来自童程童美北京区域的37097A赛队获得了VEX IQ小学组总决赛亚军！并且，获得该组别总决赛冠军的加拿大赛队252D，也是由童程童美提供的教练和技术支持。另据统计，来自童程童美的15支队伍87名参赛选手还拿下了3个分区冠军，1个分区亚军，4个分区季军以及2个单项奖。
小小科创少年远赴美国，挑战“机器人奥运会”
公开资料显示，VEX机器人世界锦标赛，被誉为“机器人奥运会”。这项科创挑战活动在全球范围内有着广泛的影响力和认可度，受到许多世界一流大学和机构的支持，每年吸引着全球40多个国家，数百万青少年参与选拔。
根据现场的赛程安排可以发现，VEX的比赛分成了小学、中学和大学三个级别，同时要求参加比赛的每一个代表团都需要自行设计制作机器人并进行编程。

练习场上随处可见正在认真练习的童程童美参赛选手，每个队伍都是分工明确，配合十分密切。即便是在排队等待的过程中，选手们也会关注其他赛队的练习状态，分析自己队伍的优劣点，吸取对手的经验。
“我最开心的是，在参加这次比赛的过程中不仅开拓了眼界，更是收获了一群志同道合的好朋友。”一位童程童美参赛选手在采访中表示，“我很喜欢机器人和编程，这种兴趣带领我走到了今天VEX世锦赛的现场，在这里，我还认识了很多来自其他国家的朋友，大家都是机器人爱好者，我从他们身上学到了很多，也跟他们分享了许多我们的经验。”
